Universal Primer for Adhesive Cementation of Indirect Restorations

Description:

Monobond® N by Ivoclar is a universal primer promoting an adhesive bond between luting composites and indirect restorative materials. It is used to create a durable chemical bond to glass/oxide ceramic, metal and fibre-reinforced composite restorations, particularly in conjunction with the Variolink and Multilink product lines.

Features:

• Alcohol solution combining three functional methacrylates:
  • Silane methacrylate
  • Phosphoric acid methacrylate
  • Sulphide methacrylate
• 60-second reaction time on appropriately pre-treated restoration surfaces
• Excess is dispersed with a strong stream of air after the reaction time

Applications

• Glass-ceramic restorations, including lithium disilicate
• Oxide ceramic restorations, including zirconium oxide and aluminium oxide
• Metal or metal-supported restorations
• Fibre-reinforced composite restorations
• Monobond® N does not replace the required etching or sandblasting steps. Do not clean zirconium oxide or metal bonding surfaces with phosphoric acid.
