Tetric® N-Ceram 8th Gen Kit:

The solution for all cavities

Description:

Tetric® N Ceram is a moldable universal composite for anterior and posterior restorations based on nano-hybrid composite technology. The universal materials of the Tetric N Ceram assortment demonstrate what is known as a chameleon effect. This is due to their low translucency of 11-12.5 percent, their special filler technology and their nanoparticulate shade pigments. Consequently, the material can be used in many different situations. Only in cases of large fillings or severely stained tooth structure is the additional application of an opaque Tetric N-Ceram Dentin material necessary.

Tetric® N-Bond Universal is a light-curing, single-component adhesive designed for both direct and indirect bonding procedures and all etching techniques. Discover the exceptional potential of this product and see how it can streamline your work in the future.

Features:

• Unified "Direct Restoratives" System: Products are optimally matched within Ivoclar’s Direct Restoratives line to ensure chemical compatibility and a streamlined clinical workflow.

•  Universal Application & Etching Compatibility: Accommodates direct composite/compomer fillings, core build-ups, indirect cementation, and repairs using self-etch, selective-enamel, or total-etch techniques.

•  Uniform Tubule Blockage & Resin Tag Formation: Seals dentin with a homogeneous adhesive layer, forming defined resin tags under both wet and dry conditions.

•  Advanced Material Science:

•  Bond: Mildly acidic monomer mix with water/ethanol solvent system; low film thickness (~10 µm) that will not interfere with seated indirect restorations.

•  Composite: Nano-hybrid filler technology featuring low shrinkage stress, long working time (>3 minutes), and non-stick, non-slumping consistency.

•  High Radiopacity: High radiopacity of up to 400% Al in the restorative composite

Benefits:

• High Bond Strength & Reduced Sensitivity: Delivers consistently high adhesion (>25 MPa) on wet or dry substrate while the integrated desensitizing effect minimizes post-operative sensitivity.

•  Superior Diagnostic Clarity: Outstanding radiopacity makes secondary caries and marginal gaps easy to detect on follow-up X-rays.

•  Exceptional Esthetics & Shade Matching: The natural chameleon effect of Tetric N-Ceram allows single-shade restorations to blend seamlessly into surrounding tooth structure.

•  Clinical Efficiency & Ease of Handling:

• No separate activator required for dual-cure luting materials.

• Sculptable resin does not adhere to instruments, simplifies modeling, and polishes quickly to a durable gloss.

• Extended working time allows careful anatomical sculpting without premature ambient setting.
